You only need to surf the internet for a few minutes before you find somebody arguing: which musician is better, why the people on the other side of the political spectrum are wrong and what colour "that dress" really is.

We love controversy, but we need connection.

This blog is an attempt to share some of my thoughts on culture and society while trying to also see things from others' perspectives. Sometimes my opinions will be wrong. That's part of being human. It's whether we can learn from it and admit it.

This blog will tend to focus on issues relating to Aotearoa New Zealand and the Asian community in New Zealand as well as overseas.
